A Note From Me;
I am here to share a very large part of my heart with you. Most importantly, I am here as Kayde’s mom. I don’t say most importantly in the sense that none of the other parts of me or my experiences are not important, however this one has had the most profound effect on my life.
There are moments in life that shift the ground beneath us, moments that divide time into a “before” and an “after.” Stillbirth is one of those moments. It is a grief unlike any other, where love and loss collide in a single breath.
I am an advocate for compassionate, inclusive support after baby loss. I speak on this because I have lived it. My journey through loss changed everything - not just in my own life, but in how I see the gaps in care, the silence that surrounds grief, and the strength it takes to survive it. Through my speaking work, I aim to challenge the narrative around baby loss, create space for honest conversations about loss, healing and the power of showing up for families when they need it most. My hope is not only to support grieving parents but also to inspire healthcare providers, communities, and systems to do better - to lead with empathy, to give time, and to listen deeply.
This is for the parents who never thought they would be here. For the babies and children that live forever in our hearts. For the change that needs to happen - and for the voices that deserve to be heard. This passion was born from heartbreak, but it exists because of love - fierce, unshakable, enduring love. I am here to walk beside you, to offer comfort in the most painful moments, and to honour every tiny life that changed us forever.
With all my heart,

About Me.

My favourite moment isn’t so much a moment as it is a feeling. A feeling of connection, vulnerability, authenticity and comfort. Alexa is destined for success because of who she is, who she attracts to the podcast and her genuine nature.
Birth Trauma Mama
I am grateful that Alexa asked me to be a part of her podcast and her journey. We spoke about things that made me feel like we’ve known each other for a long time when in fact we have known of each other but have never had the opportunity to talk much. I feel connected to Alexa and I know her listeners Will as well. We are all walking on this journey together and Alexa calls in a variety of people with different stories to help support one another in more ways than we will ever know. I am so proud of you girl!
NICU Mama
A lot of people don’t realize the grief and pain that come with hyperemesis gravidarum. Talking to Alexa, feeling truly understood, and knowing we were creating something powerful for other moms—so they know they’re not alone—was incredible. It was a moment of shared strength, a way to honour the babies we lost, and a reminder that our struggles matter.
